Alarm bells were already ringing, but those fears were confirmed on launch day when it quickly became apparent that the game had been rushed out in an unfinished state. Then, less than a month before release, it was confirmed that the game would be capped at 30 fps on Xbox Series X|S, with a 60 fps "performance mode" to be added at a later date. The open world first-person shooter was meant to release in 2022, only for developer Arkane to delay the launch until May 2, 2023. But if it fails to impress, what's the point in owning an Xbox?Ģ023 has not been a good year for Xbox, with the disappointing launch of Redfall encapsulating everything wrong with the gaming giant's offering in recent years. Halo Infinite releases on December 8 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.Xbox is putting all of its eggs in the Starfield basket, in the hope that it will rescue its lacklustre 2023. Hopefully though, this is an opportunity many people can take advantage of. This type of practice is evident in the Halo Super Fan Bundle, where rather than just listing the items again separately, if buyers miss out on Tuesday and Wednesday, they will have to go all in with the bundle on Thursday. With those restocks, GameStop typically bundles the console with games, giftcards, and other accessories, in turn making buyers pay more than they would for just the console itself. These restocks are similar to other Pro Member-exclusive restocks GameStop has done previously for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, though not quite as annoying as those ones. With the headset being listed individually at $169, tentative buyers should expect to pay quite handsomely for this bundle, probably pretty close to the $1,000 mark. In this bundle, fans will get both the limited edition Halo Infinite Xbox Series X console and Elite Series 2 controller, as well as the Kaira Pro Halo Wireless Headset, themed similarly to the controller. The final restock known as the "Halo Super Fan Bundle" will be happening on Thursday, October 14, at 10:00am CST. Presumably these items will be listed at the prices that they were originally retailed for, the console being $549 and the controller being $199. Then on Wednesday, October 13, at 10:00 am CST, the limited-edition Halo Infinite Xbox Elite Series 2 controller will go on sale. The first of these restocks is on Tuesday, October 12 at 10:00 am CST, where fans will have an attempt at snagging the coveted Halo Infinite Xbox Series X console. Pro Members at Gamestop have begun receiving notices about the restock happening throughout the week, as these they will have early access to these items. GameStop will be restocking the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X and Elite 2 controller at varying times this week. Unfortunately, as has been the case with most console acquisitions in the past year, these items sold out almost immediately and have yet to see a major restock anywhere. Some of the announced items include a beautiful Halo Infinite Xbox Series X console that is mostly black and gray with gold highlights and a speckled top, and a Master Chief-themed Xbox Elite Series 2 controller based off the legendary Spartan's armor.
